But there’s more to the story…

Twenty years ago I began writing freelance when the time suited and inspiration struck. Then we moved abroad and our family needed a bit more income to make ends meet. That’s when the copywriting began, working here and there with online magazines, faith-based organisations, and small businesses. Writing, editing, random bits of design, consulting—I did (nearly) it all.

I’ve had big highs, like managing an online magazine or reporting on major cultural shifts in Ireland for a global news outlet. And I’ve had a few lows, like that magazine closing shop or sending out pitch after pitch with no response. I’ve also written corporate reports on organic fertiliser, so that’s sprinkled in there somewhere, too.

But the thing that’s remained consistent is an earnest desire to help orgs and businesses get their message where - and to whom - it needs to go. Whether it’s email marketing or brand design, analytical reports or special interest articles, self-published books or social media curation, #copywithsoul always rings true.
